A Few Songs to Hold You Over For Now
Where the heck have I been? Well, Spring Break is officially over and my teachers made sure we knew it. We had a lot of catching up to do they all said, then started laying on the homework, projects, and everything in between. I’ll get around to posting tomorrow I swear, but I’ve had all kinds of things on my plate to do these last few days so I’m sorry about the lack of posts. I see a lot of you already saw my new addition to the blog, but for those of you that haven’t, check out the new sections I’ve added over the weekend. Movie reviews right now is just the mini-reviews I’ve done so far on the blog, but I’ll be sure to update it as soon as I see a new movie, so check that every now and then. Also, there’s a tour dates section that I compiled more for myself so I could see when all my favorite bands were playing, but I figured it’d be a useful addition to the blog that you guys can come back to as a frequent reference. The list is relatively small for both sections, but give me time and it’s bound to grow into quite the list. See you tomorrow and sorry about the lack of posts. Here’s some random mp3’s I found that I didn’t exactly listen to, but hastily threw on here before passing out hardcore for a well deserved night of sleep. Some great acoustic Metric covering Dylan, a surprisingly good yet different sounding Modest Mouse Ship b-side, and new Sufjan! Whoo. The Sufjan is off the upcoming Joni Mitchell tribute album.
Metric - Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright (Dylan cover)
Modest Mouse - King Rat
Sufjan Stevens - A Free Man In Paris (Joni Mitchell cover)
