Backwards Videos = Cool

I was reading Shots Ring Out the other day and noticed they posted the new Metric video for their song “Empty” which features a house slowly reverting from being torn apart to everything popping back on shelves and the like until the house is back together by the end. This trend of backwards videos, most taken in one long shot is not only one I’ve loved as of late, but one I had to share since SRO so kindly compiled a few in that post. So here’s me borrowing the links SRO gave not to steal their thunder, but to expose a few more people to these very cool videos because I doubt each and every one of you made it over to SRO on that particular day. Enjoy.
Metric – Empty (.mov)
Mute Math – Typical
Cibo Matto – Sugar Water
Pharcyde – Drop
Coldplay – The Scientist
Also on a side note, I’m slowly getting other sections added to the blog so you have other stuff to look at when I’m busy and haven’t posted a new post yet. The newest feature to the site is my music. Shameless plug I know, but with the label thing starting up for us and me somewhat recording those songs legit now, I might as well have one place where all my music can be conveniently found. This way I won’t be wasting posts just to tell you I wrote a new song. Now I can just say head over to my music section to check out the new song, which is actually the case this time. So, head on over to my new music section and check out my new song “The Things I’ll Never Do” and let me know what you think. There’s also some new movie reviews and tour dates I recently added as well. So check out my new song and the movie reviews/tour dates and then check those sections every now and then for new stuff. Here’s the link in case you’re too lazy to scroll to the top of the screen.
