Unless you’re new to my site or have been living under a rock these past three years and simply didn’t read every 10th post, you know that I am also somewhat of a musician. It started out small just messing around teaching myself guitar, then turned to writing a few songs every couple months or so, then Seattle came and all of a sudden I became a decent songwriter and started pumping out my brand of acoustic pop numbers left and right. Since I don’t want to bother people too much by dedicating posts whenever I write a new song, I’ve come up with this page. The end all be all when it comes to my music. It’s not good, especially the covers which are mostly pure crap and I made mainly to fulfill friend’s requests while in Seattle, but my originals, especially the newer ones, I feel are much better. You can be the judge, but hopefully I can get on the ball here pretty soon since I’m graduating and actually record most of them semi-professionally and distribute them through our up and coming label. So, listen to what ever songs you want and feel free to shoot me an email if you take a particular liking to any of the songs and want to let me know you enjoy them, because there’s nothing, and I mean nothing better lately than getting a genuine compliment on one of my songs. It’s to the point that I rarely say too harsh of stuff about anyone’s music anymore because I know how hard it is to write songs. That’s why I’ll just stick to talking trash on teenie pop like Ashlee Simpson since they don’t write their own music and Nickelback, because they plagiarize themselves and suck. Disclaimer: I’ll put my songs up once I get them all uploaded. Sorry for making you read all of the above and tease you there, but it should make you curious to hear my music if you haven’t heard it already. Did I mention the recording quality of most the songs is absolutely terrible. Like John Darnielle early album 4-track style, but what can ya do. Check back soon for actual mp3’s and youtube videos. Yep.

In somewhat chronological order from newest to oldest. Apple Tree is the only semi-professionally recorded song, so it’s first. (and for some reason the little audio players had the so called “chipmunk effect” on the second half of the songs since they’re older and have the wrong bitrate. I’ll fix those when I can. For now just check the youtube version since that’s what most mp3’s are taken from anyway)

EDIT: I’ve got a band now to help me with my songs. We’re called Honest Artist and are recording demos slowly but surely.
