The Perch Radio Playlist 5/6/07

Easily my best show yet. The host after me quit his show, so I just did a two hour show instead. It was full of great music, screw ups left and right, and good conversations with people online. The best part had to be when I started talking in the middle of the Page France song because I thought it was over since I didn’t really know the song all that well, then out of nowhere it just bursts back into the song and I was still talking. Whoops. Adds character to my show I guess. Much needed humor or something. Either way, thanks to everyone who listened (55 people! That’s a record for the show), and I hope to see you next Sunday. Enjoy the mp3’s if you missed the show.

I wish I wouldn’t have missed the first half of the show, looks like fun, but all the songs were.

Some very good stuff here — thanks!

Win tickets to Andrew Bird!
Three pairs of tickets are being awarded to the best paraphrasing of an Andrew Bird song into a haiku! That is, a three line verse stanza consisting of mainly natural imagery (and little to no comment on those images) and with syllable counts of 5/7/5! Be sure to indicate which song your haiku is paraphrasing (in the subject line). Due date May 21 – three winners will win a pair of tickets to an upcoming show (their choice, from May 22 onwards).
