Highlights include Mancino, whose album Manners Matter has been getting significant listens as of late for their mix of crazy dance tunes with truly heartfelt songs (see: the contrast between the first and last song in the mix).  I hear Apollo Sunshine all over this album and like Robbers on High Street was to Spoon, Mancino may very well be that to Apollo Sunshine, which is a great thing in my book.  The rest of the mix is pretty downtempo, with a piano and string filled lullabye by Basia Bulat, a sleepy number in Flunk’s “Sit Down” and a few great songs from two great singer/songwriters in Josh Ritter and Jeff Buckley.  Don’t forget about that Feist techno remix which will be featured on her upcoming single.  Enjoy the mix!
