Short Break from the Perch
Sad day indeed…well, for you more than me. I was going to post a mega post full of all kinds of goodies and whatnot to keep you busy while I was gone in Chicago, but all of a sudden I’ve worked two 9-5:30pm days in a row doing crazy manual labor and being completely dead afterwards. So, I apologize for that. But I’m heading for Chicago tomorrow to see a girl I haven’t seen in over two years. Crazy I know. But it should be great to say the least. I’ll be there until Saturday night, so I guess look for a post next Monday? I’ve got posts lined up for Jumpel, Siberian, and Nicole Atkins for sure when I get back. All three are great albums that I’ve been listening to a lot. I’m also half way done with my review of In Rainbows for a local downtown magazine here in town, so I’ll be posting that too.
Don’t cry too much while I’m gone. It won’t be too long. Hope everyone’s week is great, and since I feel kind of guilty, I’ll sit here for a bit before I pack and find some quality links for you.
Tomorrow I’ll be in Chicago seeing Tiffany. Couldn’t be more excited!

It almost looks fake, like how they put Tom Hanks in those old presidential videos in Forrest Gump. But it’s real, and that’s pretty damn awesome.
So, I guess I ended up creating that hodgepodge of links to keep you busy while I’m gone post I said I didn’t have time for. Funny how the blog does that to me sometimes. Enjoy all the links and I’ll see you next Monday!
