The Happening, New M. Night Shyamalan movie…oooohhhh scary

The one good thing about being too busy to check out your usual blogs is when you finally have time again, you’ve got a solid 20 or so minutes of great reading.  That just happened to me with Slash Film.  I get on movie fixes just like I do with music, and while movies don’t get talked about as much here as I should (what the H happened with your movie review section never being updated you may ask), I’ll post something if it peaks my interest enough.  So, what movie has done that today?  The Happening, M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie.  Slash Film says people they talk to that have read the script say it’s the best script he’s written since Sixth Sense.  I realize a lot of you may be rolling your eyes at the mention of another M. Night movie, but I have faith with this one.  Of course, we’ll have to wait and see once it comes out for a final verdict.  Maybe I’ll actually write a review for it.  Gasp!

And don’t forget about my most anticipated movie of the moment:  Be Kind Rewind!  Michel Gondry’s new flick starring Jack Black and Mos Def.  Can’t wait.

Comes out this Friday!  Not sure if it’s limited release or not.  Hopefully not.

KILLER BEES!!!!!!!!!

[...] I guess I have been under a rock for the past week, because somehow this slipped past me. I’ve always been fan of man’s work, despite what others might say about him. The trailer for ‘The Happening’ is out and looks decent. Walberg just might make this one a winner. Oh and when did the stop-gap get pulled form the apocalyptic-movie-storage-bottle. Despite constant ridicule from my peers. I have always been a strong supporter of Nights films, even “Lady In The Water.”I am sure he is going to pull a winner off with this one as well, however I was not too impressed with the trailer. I know there will be more trailers on the way, but this kind of reminds me of “Signs”,which was a phenomenal movie.
