Weezer – Pork and Beans video
Weezer lost me a long time ago. I’d pinpoint it to around the time Matt Sharp left the band. But my love for them way back in the day still carries over even now and has led to me at least checking out every new album they come out with, even if they’re mostly just radio friendly stuff anymore. But this new single “Pork and Beans” is pretty dang good, and the video for it, well, let’s just say I was cracking up the whole time I was watching it. Unless you’ve been without internet for the past year or so, you’ll recognize most of these infamous internet stars like the Numa Numa kid, the Chocolate Rain kid, the Star Wars kid, the “Leave Brittany alone” kid, Ms. South Carolina giving the worst/best answer to a question imaginable, and so on and so on. You gotta give props to Weezer for being able to pull all these kids together in one place. I’m curious to hear the new album, but this video just made my day. Watch it, laugh, then go do something outside. It’s Friday!
