Peter Bradley Adams - “Leavetaking”
I receive so many emails a day from promo companies, that I’m often forced to delete a ton after a while without ever having listened to the artist the email was about. It’s a shame, but sometimes I honestly just have to get rid of all the emails and take the whole “can’t be sad I deleted it if I never heard it” montra. But today was one of those days I decided to randomly click one of those emails and I’m glad I did. Peter Bradley Adams is a singer/songwriter I know very little about, but only needed to hear the song “Always” to know I’d like his music. His upcoming album, Leavetaking, is released on August 5th, and after listening to “Always” and the other songs at his myspace, I’m sure I’ll be giving the new album a spin.
Recommended for anyone who likes singer/songwriters like Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, etc. with a good dose of mellow fingerpicking and strings for these hot summer days.
