New Manchester Orchestra – “I Can Feel a Hot One”

Last year, Manchester Orchestra overtook Brand New as my new favorite melodic indie hard rock band. That category probably doesn’t make sense, but they were my #3 album of the year last year and I’m still listening to the great I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child. Well, I just got news that they’re in the studio recording their upcoming full length, Mean Everything to Nothing, at the Blackbird Studios, and in the meantime are releasing an EP/DVD entitled Let My Pride Be What’s Left Behind. They’ve got a new song from that EP up at their myspace, and it’s a nice little downtempo song up there with any of the slower songs off last year’s album. Check it out and let me know what you think. I’ll be sure to keep all you Manchester Orchestra fans updated on the progress of the new album, which is one I’m highly anticipating.
