Election Day Has Arrived!
I’m all kinds of excited for today to finally arrived. I feel pretty confident about who is going to win, considering I went to an Obama rally last weekend and 40,000 people showed up. In Springfield, MO. As in the middle of the bible belt Springfield. Bush won here overwhelmingly the last two elections, and won big in Missouri in general, so seeing 40,000 people show up here in Springfield, over 100,000 show up at the arch in St. Louis, I’ve got to say my hopes are up.
I did find it kind of odd that our president is nowhere to be found the last week. A week that is one of our most important weeks as a country in so long, and on top of that, our president voted by absentee ballot. He couldn’t get on air force one for a short flight to vote in an actual voting booth alongside fellow Americans? Baffles me this man does. But here’s to hoping our next president, well, is a hell of a lot better than the last and helps us out of these two necessary wars, this failed economy, our failing, most children left behind education system, and does something about the rampant corruption that has overrun Washington.
Enough ranting though. You know who I like to win, and I imagine most my readers are probably split down the middle. But let’s get to the real reason I wrote this post. Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s new video for “As Tall as Cliffs”. Funny stuff, unless of course you worship the man like my Grandma or my uncle. Then, you’ll probably get offended.
