Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard Engaged
That’s right. You heard it here probably dead last, but I figured I’d update everyone on this very indie engagement in case you hadn’t heard. Sorry Kellen, you’ll find your Zooey someday. It just won’t be of the Deschanel variety now it seems. Gibbard was dating one of my bosses at Sub Pop when I interned there in ‘06. I guess not anymore eh?
But the real reason I wrote this post was to update you all that my top 50 list is compiled down from an initial 97 albums (97!!). I spent all night last night watching all the Dexter episodes I’ve missed this season (amazing show that just keeps getting better), and finalizing my top 50 list. I’m as confident as I can be about the final list, so now it’s just on to the ever complicated and tedious task of writing the posts. I’ll try to get the first one done by Thursday. Friday at the latest. Until then, don’t cry too much all you Zooey fanboys out there. Your beautiful, girl next door that is in a lot of great movies and sings so well she collaborated with M. Ward, is out there I swear.
