The title says it all.  Easily one of my most anticipated albums this year.  I should be receiving my promo copy in the mail by the end of the week, which is beyond exciting, but they recently revealed the artwork, so I figured I’d share that with all my readers that are big Manchester Orchestra fans.  I’ve promised not to talk specifics about the album until closer to the release date, which is April 21st, so if you’re really curious how the album is, feel free to email or instant message me towards the end of the week and I’d love to talk about the new album with you.  Here’s the new album art and I’ll write up a review sometime in the near future.

I had a nice conversation with a reader on aim this weekend that ended in me helping them find the Amelie soundtrack which they’d recently lost, which I love doing.  The convo started out with apologies for bothering me through instant message, which I’ve always found to be a bit ridiculous.  You guys know I’ve always encouraged contacting me directly about any and all music related matters, or if you simply want to talk to me.  Instant message is almost preferred because then I get to know you guys.  But everyone seems scared to “bother” me and here’s me saying to you guys that if you want to contact me, do it.  I love meeting new people because of my blog and it always cracks me up that I somehow get the big blogger vibe, which I most definitely am not.  The whole reason I write this blog is to inform fellow music fans like me about all the new music I’ve come across, since I’m probably way more obsessive than you.  So, pelican473 is my screen name.  Feel free to message me anytime and I promise I’ll be happy to talk to you.  I’m just a regular guy after all.  None of this big blogger non-sense.  Alright, sorry for that rant
