New Manchester Orchestra Videos
I’ve been meaning to write up a review for Manchester Orchestra’s new release, Mean Everything to Nothing, which is just fantastic and was definitely worth the long wait, so look for that review soon, but in the mean time, the band are releasing a video for each song on the album one at a time until the album’s release on April 21st. They already premiered the first video at Absolute Punk, but today they premiered the second video for “Shake It Out” over at Spin. I’ll get into more detail with my review later, but if you’re not really digging these first two songs, the album was purposely split into all the hard songs up front, then all the softer songs towards the end. The lead singer said he liked how you couldn’t think for the first six songs and just had to listen, then the end of the album slows down. The beginning songs had to grow on me, and I loved the ending songs right from the start, but I know some of you, who are past Manchester fans, may be slightly turned off by how hard these two songs are. Don’t fret my friends, the album is amazing and in a month’s time, you’ll be listening to it as well. Here’s those videos.
