Mute Math – “Spotlight”
There’s no denying this is old news, as this single was on the Twilight soundtrack, but being the good, loyal Mute Math fan I am, I completely missed that they had a new EP that came out in March. I’m mainly posting this because I enjoy the song and am a huge fan of the band. And if most of you are like me, then you tend to have a hard time keeping up with a band that hasn’t released any albums for three years. Regardless, Darren, their drummer, is from right here in Springfield, MO, so a lot of my friends know him personally, and that helped me become a huge fan, as I saw them numerous time over the years. Enjoy this single and check back this summer for their long awaited new release. It’s one of my more anticipated albums of the year for sure.
