Vampire Weekend’s “Contra” Out Now

So, Vampire Weekend’s Contra finally came out yesterday.  What do you all think.  I’d say they sound more Paul Simon like than ever, and while I think the hype has probably ruined any critical acclaim this album should most likely get from the indie elitist, I still give it my thumbs up.  Solid album that should please both old and new Vampire Weekend fans.

The real question is have you listened to new The Magnetic Fields or Spoon albums?
